Achoki Moikobu joined the Bulldogs in June, 2021, after a season on the staff at Grand Canyon University, where he helped the Antelopes to the 2021 Western Athletic Conference title and first NCAA Tournament appearance.
 
Moikobu served as GCU's director of recruiting and helped assemble a roster that transformed a 13-17 team into one that went 17-7 in 2020-21 to win the league title and earn an NCAA Tournament berth.
 
Before joining the program at GCU, he spent the previous six years as the postgraduate head coach at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kan., where he coached 28 future Division I players, including current Bulldog D.J. Wilkins.
 
Moikobu, a native of Seattle, Wash., played at Fort Hays State in Hays, Kansas, where he was a 40.7 percent 3-point shooter with 91 makes in two seasons.
