Biography

2012 - Started all 21 games for Drake, registering two goals and an assist on 16 shots, including five on goal...posted game-winning goal in 1-0 road victory over Missouri State...lone assist came on Brian Grand’s tally versus No. 12 Creighton in the semifinals of the MVC Championship...sparked Drake to four shutouts from his defender’s slot, including three in conference play...rated third in the MVC in game-winning goals (1) in league-only affairs...selected as a second-team honoree to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America® team...named a first-team All-MVC Scholar-Athlete honoree...recipient of the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award, as well as being named to the MVC Academic Honor Roll. 2011 - A starter in 17 of the 20 games he appeared in, owned two goals and an assist on eight shots...selected as a first-team All-MVC Scholar-Athlete honoree as well as being chosen to the Capital One Academic All-America All-District VI men’s soccer squad...notched first career goal in a 3-1 home victory past Fordham...scored game-winning goal in Drake’s 1-0 home win over Bradley...helped Drake garner its first shutout of the season against the Braves...ranked fourth in the MVC in league-only games in game-winning goals (1).  2010 - Appeared in 15 games, including 14 starts...recorded six shots with four going on net...made first career start in home win over UMKC and started final 15 contests of the season...helped anchor a Drake defensive unit en route to being named to the all-Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman team. High School - Garnered first team all-conference and co-conference MVP honors as a senior, leading his squad to a fourth-place state finish.  Other - Played for St. Louis Scott Gallagher Metro club team.  Personal - Born Oct. 23, 1991, in Glen Carbon, Ill....majoring in computer science and chemistry...son of Clint and Stacy Marshall...Drake Presidential Scholarship recipient.
