Prior to Drake: He has twice been named the Missouri Valley Conference’s Most Outstanding Field Athlete ... placed first in the MVC Indoor Championship in the shot put (63’-7.75”) and weight throw (64’7.25”) in 2019 for Southern Illinois University ... named the 2018 MVC indoor shot put champion and an MVC Scholar-Athlete ... won all Ohio Valley Conference shot put titles as a sophomore in high school ... participated in four sports: football, baseball, wrestling and track and field.
