Biography

2017-18: Named to the MAAC All-Academic team... member of the sixth place 2nd Varsity 8+ boat at the MAAC Championships...member of the 2nd Varsity 8+ boat that finished second at the Illinois Collegiate Rowing Invitational...also took second at Illinois in the Varsity 4+D boat.

2016-17: Member of the Varsity 4+ A morning and afternoon boats that finished second and first, respectively, in the Lubbers Cup.

2015-16: Rower on exhibition 2nd varsity 8 boats at Head of Rock and against Creighton in the fall.

High School: Played softball internationally the summer before arriving at Drake...member of high school softball team for four years...helped her team go to state her senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Todd and Tammy Janes...sister to Rachael and Grace...both parents are Drake alumni...mother Tammy was also on the rowing team at Drake...born March, 1997...majoring in health sciences (clinical and applied).
