Redshirt Junior Year (2024): All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team… had a .182 batting average with 22 AB… secured 4 hits and one run…played 33 games and started 28 of them… had a 3.02 ERA with a 1.41 WHIP… pitched a 13-7 record with 125.1 innings pitched… had a total of 78 strike outs. 

Redshirt Sophomore Year (2023): Started five games and appeared in 10 total ... threw 26.2 innings ... struck out 21 opposing batters ... played her position well with a season-high three defensive assists vs. Murray State (Apr. 1).

Redshirt Freshman Year (2022): Threw 10.1 innings and logged three at bats ... earned one win in two starts and seven appearances ... struck out six batters ... recorded an 8.13 earned run average.

Freshman Year (2021): Redshirted and did not see action.

High School: Four-year letterwinner for Carlisle High School ... talented multi-sport athlete for the Wildcats who also lettered four years in basketball and volleyball and two years in track and field ... pitcher/designated hitter ... helped the softball team win the 2019 Iowa Class 4A State title, and the team earn a runner-up finish in 2020 and a fifth-place finish in 2017 ... three-time all-state selection in softball, including back-to-back first team honors as a junior and senior ... selected to the all-tournament team at 2019 state tournament ... Carlisle was 117-24-1 in her four years and she compiled an impressive 85-15 individual record in the circle with just one loss each her junior and senior seasons ... went 15-1 her senior year (97.1% winning percentage is single season school record) ... tallied 513 career strikeouts in the circle ... at the plate as a junior, she batted .402 with two home runs and 31 RBI and as a senior hit .305 ... softball team won three Raccoon River Conference Championships in her career ... multiple all-conference and all-district honoree in basketball, softball and volleyball ... collected academic all-conference accolades in basketball, softball and volleyball each of her final three years ... earned third team all-state honors in basketball her senior season ... holds school record  for single game scoring total and career three-pointers ... scored more than 1,000 career points.

Personal: Born May, 2002 ... daughter of Mark and Andrea Hoekstra ... father played four years of football at Buena Vista and mother played four years of basketball at Buena Vista ... has one sister, Madison ... majoring in health sciences ... chose Drake because it felt right the first time she visited. The coaches and atmosphere are great. It feels like the perfect place to grow as a student athlete.
