Dan Huebsch was hired as associate head strength and condition coach at Drake University in August, 2021. His direct responsibilities include programming and implementing strength & conditioning training sessions for the women’s basketball, volleyball and men’s and women’s golf student-athletes.
Prior to Drake, Huebsch was the head strength and conditioning coach at Dakota Wesleyan University. Before Dakota Wesleyan, he was at the University of Tulsa for several years, including his last two when he served as a strength and conditioning coach for the football, softball, track and field and men’s and women’s tennis programs. Huebsch worked in the private sector from 2014-17 serving as an athletic performance coach at the Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, Minn. He completed an internship with Iowa State in 2013.
Huebsch earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Winona State University in 2013 and his master’s degree in biology from Tulsa. He and his wife, Kate, have one son, Cameron.
