Coach Stephens on Agee ? “Kaniesha has had another great off season and has improved tremendously from last season. She will be one of the best defenders on our team and be a significant factor in running our offense this season. Her work ethic and leadership have been outstanding.”
Sophomore Year (2007-08) ? Quietly assumed the Bulldogs’ starting point guard duties midway through the campaign and helped spark Drake to the MVC regular season crown, averaging 1.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.8 points...appeared in 33 contests, including starts in the final 14 games and 17 tilts overall...led the team with a 1.8 assist to turnover ratio, including a 2.1 mark in conference action...recorded 1.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in league play...ranked second on the team in blocked shots (18) and fourth in assists (56)...netted seven points in Drake’s comeback 53-51 victory at Wichita State to earn share of league title...contributed 46 of her 56 assists to Bulldog wins, while posting a 2.0 assist/turnover ratio in those games...distributed 33 assists against only 13 turnovers in the second half of contests and was even better in the final five minutes registering nine assists to only two turnovers.
