Drake University Athletics

Sophomore Year (2024-25): Began sophomore season as a reserve before entering Drake’s starting lineup during Bulldogs’ holiday trip to Puerto Rico…started 27 times while appearing in all 34 games…averaged 4.8 points with shooting rates of .454 from the field (69-152), .257 from three (19-74), and .778 from the charity stripe (7-9)…corralled 98 rebounds, dished out 31 assists, took away 16 steals, and blocked nine shots…scored season-high 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting in return to Twin Cities for Bulldog win at St. Thomas…had season-high nine rebounds vs. Illinois State in MVC Tournament victory.

Freshman Year (2023-24): Played in all 35 games off the bench...scored 3.1 points and snared 2.8 rebounds per game...posted a .340 three-point shooting percentage...netted a season high 11 points vs. North Dakota State (12/8) and rebounds at North Dakota (12/21).

High School: An all-around contributor at Wayzata High School...averaged double figures and over seven rebounds during her final two seasons for the Trojans including a career-high 12.0 points per game as a senior...member of three-straight Section 6AAAA runner-up teams...two-time All-Lake Conference performer and an All-Conference Honorable Mention...All-State Honorable Mention and Academic All-State award recipient...participated in Minnesota Girls Basketball All-Star Game...four-year letterwinner in basketball, also received a varsity letter in cross country as a freshman.

Personal: Born November, 2004...daughter of James and Amy Fornshell...undecided on her major...chose Drake because she loves the coaches and players and the university's academic reputation.
