Junior Year (2023-24): Repeated as Larry Bird MVC Player of the Year...named to All-MVC First Team and MVC All-Tournament Team...earned MVC Tournament Doug Elgin Most Outstanding Player Award...played in and started 34 games as a junior...averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists...shot .444 from the field, .363 from three, and .813 from the charity stripe...scored a career high 39 points in 54 minutes on a career best 12-of-26 shooting, career high 15 free throw attempts, career high 13 rebounds, and career high seven assists at UIC (2/28)...made a career high four steals on four different occasions.

Sophomore Year (2022-23): Larry Bird MVC Player of Year... averaged 18.6 points pergame, fourth in free throw percentage & fifth in three-point field goal percentage…named outstanding player of MVC Tournament after averaging 20.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg while leading Drake to 2nd title…third player in Drake history to enjoy two 500-plus scoring seasons in career, joining Lewis Lloyd (1979-81) & Willie McCarter (1967-69)…4th player in school history to reach 600 points in season (628)…has 16 20-plus scoring games including back-to-back 32 point games at Valpo & Murray State…had 27 points in MVC first round win vs. Murray State and scored 22 in championship game…scored 12 points in 2 overtime periods to spark comeback win at Valpo...enjoyed double-doubles vs. St. Ambrose (21-11) & at Murray State (32-11)…named MVP of Paradise Jam tournament after leading Drake to championship, scoring 22 points (4-4 beyond arc)  vs. Tarleton State….had 29 points in semifinal win vs. Wyoming…has made three or more treys in 16 games, including career-highs 6 treys at Evansville & Murray State…enjoyed consecutive free throw made streaks of 26 and 15.

Freshman Year (2021-22): MVC Freshman of the Year… All-MVC Second Team… All-MVC Newcomer Team… led the Bulldogs with 13.9 points per game… played in 36 games, starting in 29 of them...scored in double figures in 30 games…scored 20-plus points in five contests.

Prior to Drake: Named 2020-21 Mr. Basketball in state of Iowa after guiding Waukee High School to Iowa State title..highest ranked Drake prep recruit (ranked No. 98 nationally) since 1989... also named the Gatorade Iowa Boys Basketball Player of the Year...in three seasons at Waukee, DeVries scored 1,092 points with 430 rebounds, 268 assists and 121 steals...also set the school’s single-season scoring record with 554 points his junior season....As a senior, DeVries averaged 18.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.9 steals per game while also shooting more than 50 percent from the field and 43.7 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
