Angie Dahl is in her 22nd year with Drake Sports Medicine and oversees the entire department. In addition to her administrative responsibilities for the department, she oversees the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of the football program.
Dahl received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate Fitness-Science from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. where she played softball, and her Master’s in Public Administration from Drake in 2007.
From 1999-2004, Angie served as Assistant Athletic Trainer and Assistant Softball Coach at Washington University in St. Louis.
In her professional career, Dahl has been recognized as the 2025 Iowa Athletic Trainers Society College Athletic Trainer of the Year, 2020-21 Drake College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Level II Preceptor of the Year, and 2020-21 Drake Athletics Co-Staff Member of the Year.
Dahl is married to her husband, Matt. They live in Ankeny with daughters Delaney and Peyton.
