Gabi comes to Drake after two years at the University of South Dakota as the Coyotes' Track & Field and Cross Country Director of Operations. While at USD, she oversaw budgeting, planning team travel, equipment management, and on-campus recruiting visits. Damiano was part of two Summit League Championship title in women's cross country and men's track & field.
Damiano played volleyball Ellsworth Community College for two years in her hometown of Iowa Falls, Iowa. While at ECC, she also helped the football program with their operations effort and recruiting coordination. Gabi earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Sports and Society. She worked in operations with Arizona's football and basketball programs. Gabi later received her Master's degree from South Dakota in Kinesiology Sport Management.
