STILLWATER, OKLA. -- Junior Andrew Haigh (Auckland, New Zealand) led the Drake men's cross country team to a 14th-place finish in the NCAA Midwest Regional Men's Cross Country meet Saturday.

Haigh was clocked in 32 minutes 52.35 seconds on the 10,000-meter course to place 62nd out of 165 runners.

Drake senior Leyden Tolhurst (Auckland, New Zealand) was 77th  in 33:15.95, while freshman Derek Campbell (Sycamore, Ill.) was 82nd in 33:21.60.

Host Oklahoma State won the team title with 42 points, while Drake scored 413 points to record the third-highest finish of any Missouri Valley Conference school.

There were 32 men's teams competing.

Drake freshman Colin Hagan (Wichita, Kan.) was 91st in 33:37.00. Drake sophomore Mike Bumgarner (Rosemount, Minn.) placed 101st in 33:53.05, while junior Zach Bales-Henry (Des Moines, Iowa) was 115th in 34:26.60.

Drake sophomore Brandon Lewis (Plymouth, Minn.) finished 132nd in 34:57.85.
