KANSAS CITY, MO. - The Drake women's tennis team finished off a successful day of tennis with a bang on Saturday (Feb. 14) as the Bulldogs garnered a 7-0 victory over Rockhurst.
The win was the second of the day for Drake and pushed its ledger to 3-5 overall, while dropping the Hawks to 2-1 on the season.
The Bulldogs swept all three doubles matches to assume a lead they didn't relinquish in the tilt.
Making the most of her first appearance of the spring was freshman
Earlynn Lauer (Wichita, Kan.), who posted a 6-0, 6-0 triumph against Jaycie Schmidt at the No. 6 singles position.
Contributing wins at the Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 slots for Drake was senior
