TULSA, OKLA. - Senior Mauricio Ballivian (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) opened his stay at the D'Novo/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Tennis Championships with a bang registering a 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 victory over South Alabama's Romain Bocaert in pre-qualifying singles play on Saturday (Oct. 2).

Ballivian advances to a third-round meeting with Benjamin Chomette of Old Dominion on Sunday (Oct. 3).

Sophomore James McKie (Edinburgh, Scotland) came up short in his pre-qualifying round tilt dropping a 3-6, 6-4, 2-6, decision versus Jeremy Tweedt of Hawaii.
