DES MOINES, IOWA - Rolling off its third consecutive victory, the Drake women's tennis team dispatched of Nebraska-Omaha, 7-0, in the first of two matches on Saturday (Feb. 27) for the Bulldogs at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

Drake easily netted the doubles point sweeping all three contests with sophomore Gabriela Demos (Chesterfield, Mo.) and freshman Manca Krizman (Solkan, Slovenia) clinching the deciding tally with an 8-0 win over Kelsey Haas and Traci Moklestad at the No. 1 position.

Sophomore Jessica Aguilera (Santa Cruz, Bolivia) extended the margin to 2-0 following her 6-0, 6-0 victory against Heather Hottman on the No. 3 court.

Sophomore Earlynn Lauer (Wichita, Kan.) added an identical 6-0, 6-0 decision versus Mary Lausten at No. 6, before freshman Ali Patterson (Overland Park, Kan.) secured the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Samantha Thomas at the No. 2 slot.

The Bulldogs also garnered triumphs at the Nos. 1, 4 and 5 positions, respectively, by Krizman, junior Jessica Labarte (Barcelona, Venezuela) and sophomore Amanda Aragon (Fort Collins, Colo.).

Drake returns to action later on Saturday (Feb. 27) entertaining UMKC beginning at 6 p.m.
