Drake football spring practice is in its third week, and GoDrakeBulldogs.com keyed on linebacker Travis Merritt for today's "Five Questions" feature.

Merritt ranked second on the team in tackles in 2011 to help lead the Bulldogs to a 9-2 record and share of the Pioneer Football League championship. Voted the PFL Freshman Defensive Player of the Year, Merritt recorded 66 tackles (38 solo), including 3.5 sacks, and had one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one pass breakup.
