MADISON, Wis. - The 42nd-rated Drake men's tennis team extended its winning streak to three straight after garnering a 4-0 triumph at No. 70 Wisconsin on Saturday (Feb. 15).

The victory represented the first win for Bulldogs (5-3) over a ranked opponent this season and marked the second straight year that Drake has bettered the Badgers (3-3).

Juniors Matt Frost (Cambridge, England) and Alen Salibasic (Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina) clinched the doubles tally for the Bulldogs corralling a 6-3 victory over Jakhongir Jalalov and Petr Satral at the No. 2 position.

Senior Robin Goodman (Cambridge, England) extended Drake's lead to 2-0 in singles earning a 6-4, 6-4 decision at the No. 3 slot past Satral.

Junior Ravi Patel (London, England) moved the Bulldogs to within a point of victory dispatching John Zordani on the No. 5 court, 6-5 (4), 6-0.

Sealing the triumph for Drake at the top spot was Salibasic, who posted a 6-3, 6-5 (7) win over Oskar Wikberg. 

Frost and junior Ben Mullis (Leicestershire, England) were both leading their matches at the Nos. 4 and 6 positions, respectively, when the match was decided.

Drake returns to action on Saturday (Feb. 22) traveling to Minneapolis, Minn., to battle No. 39 Minnesota. Match time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
