DES MOINES, Iowa - Sophomore Rakshit Rishi (New Delphi, India) notched his first two career victories to help lead the No. 65 Drake men's tennis team to a 7-0 victory past Graceland (3-3) on Wednesday (Feb. 26) at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs (6-4) were dominant in doubles capturing the point on the strength of an 8-2 decision from senior Robin Goodman (Cambridge, England) and junior Ravi Patel (London, England) at the No. 1 position. The 19th-ranked duo bested Birkir Gunnarsson and Jose Razo.

Goodman pushed Drake's advantage to 2-0 in singles dispatching Jamie Sordyl at No. 2, 6-0, 6-4.

Junior Ben Mullis (Leicestershire, England) extended the Bulldogs' lead to 3-0 downing Brezile Hamilton on the No. 4 court, 6-1, 6-2.

Clinching the victory for Drake at the No. 5 slot was junior Grant Tesmer (Lincoln, Neb.), who bested Gustavo Yanez, 6-2, 6-1.

The Bulldogs also received wins at the Nos. 1, 3 and 6 positions from sophomore Ben Lott (Newcastle, England), Patel and Rishi.

Drake returns to the court this evening facing No. 55 Iowa at 6:00 p.m. at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
