ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake University football's Josh Lee was named Pioneer Football League Special Teams Player of the Week, the league office announced on Sunday, Sept. 6.
Lee, a Decorah, Iowa native, was responsible for 12 points in Drake's 44-30 victory over William Jewell on Saturday. He made all three of his field goal attempts and converted 3-of4 extra points. He made two field goals in the second quarter, including one as time expired to help the Bulldogs take a 13-3 lead at halftime. He tacked on a 24-yard field goal late in the third quarter.
Lee and the Bulldogs travel to North Dakota on Saturday with kickoff set for 5 p.m.
