DES MOINES, Ill. – The Drake University head men's tennis coach Davidson Kozlowski released the Bulldogs 2017 schedule which features matches against seven Big Ten teams and two Pac 12 teams.
 
The Bulldogs open the season with a doubleheader on Jan. 21 when they host Northern Illinois and George Washington.
 
Drake will once again participate in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend and this time it squares off against Texas (Jan. 28).
 
The Bulldogs will play back-to-back Big Ten teams at Iowa (Feb. 3) and at Purdue (Feb. 5).
 
The squad returns to the Roger Knapp Tennis Center on Feb. 12 for a twinbill against Middle Tennessee and Nebraska-Omaha.
 
The Bulldogs close out the second month of the season at Wisconsin (Feb. 16) and at Oregon (Feb. 26).
 
Drake continues its road swing on March 4-5 when it faces off against Washington and Minnesota, respectively, in Minneapolis.
 
The Bulldogs then heads to Michigan to take on Michigan (March 10), Michigan State (March 12) and Western Michigan (March 12).
 
After a year hiatus, Drake returns to the prestigious San Diego Spring Break Tournament on March 16-19, which welcomes several of the top teams in the country.
 
The Bulldogs will host Nebraska (March 22) for their lone home match for the month of March.
 
Drake then plays at Cornell (March 25) and Denver (March 31) to wrap up the non-conference portion of the schedule.
 
The Bulldogs hosts Illinois State and Southern Illinois on April 8 before closing out the regular season at Wichita State on April 15.
