DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake University women's golfer Madison Glennie finished in the top-50 at the Canadian Women's Amateur Championship on Friday at the Ken-Wo Golf Club in New Minas, Nova Scotia.
 
Glennie, a Clearwater, Fla. native, placed tied for 48th at the 72-hole event. She began the four-day event by shooting a 76 (+6) in the first round and then fired a 74 (+4) in the second round to make the 36-hole cut. Glennie then carded a 75 (+5) in the third round before wrapping up her performance with a 73 (+3) in the final round to place tied for 48th-place.
