Drake vs. San Diego Kickoff Moved To 1 p.m.

Bulldogs and Toreros to clash Saturday at 1 p.m.

DES MOINES, Iowa - Saturday's football game between Pioneer Football League rivals Drake and San Diego has been changed to a 1 p.m. kickoff at Drake Stadium.

The Nov. 3 showdown between PFL heavyweights has significant implications in the conference race as San Diego, the league's preseason favorite, is undefeated in league action at 5-0. Drake is in a three-way tie for second at 4-1 and Saturday's winner will have an inside track to the PFL title and FCS playoff berth.

Saturday's game will also pit one of the nation's top defenses against one of the nation's top offenses on the Johnny Bright Field turf. Drake ranks 11th nationally in total defense, allowing just 289.4 yards per game and 15th in scoring defense by surrendering a scant 20.0 points per game. Meanwhile, San Diego's offense ranks eighth nationally in total yardage at 487.4 yards per game and is putting up 38.8 points per game, the 13th best average in the nation.
