Track & Field Opens Indoor Season At Iowa

Bulldogs to compete in Iowa City to being the 2018-19 season

The Drake University men's and women's track and field teams open the 2018-19 season Saturday, Dec. 8 in Iowa City at the Jimmy Grant Invite.

Along with the host, Iowa, the five-team field includes Illinois State, Iowa State, and UNI. The meet will begin at 9 a.m. with the weight throw event, and jumps will start at 2:30 p.m. Running events will start at 4:30 p.m., including one-mile and three-kilometer races.

After competition in Iowa City, the Bulldogs will have a month to prepare for the Graduate Classic, hosted by Nebraska, on Jan. 11, 2019.
