Men's Track and Field

Track & Field Teams Earn USTFCCCA Academic Honors

Both men's and women's teams and six Bulldogs collect academic awards

Fresh off of one of the top seasons in program history, the honors continued to roll in for the Drake University track & field teams as both the men's and women's teams earned All-Academic awards from the U.S. Track & Field And Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Six Bulldogs also collected individual All-Academic honors from the organization.
 
Missouri Valley Conference champion and Olympian Yinka Mary Ajayi, MVC Champion Adam Fogg, MVC Champion Cloud Masibhera, Joey Harkins, Isaac Basten, Adam Kessler all earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors. To be named All-Academic student-athletes must have a 3.25 or better GPA and have qualified for the NCAA Prelims during the outdoor season or ranked in the top 96 nationally during the indoor season.
 
Both the men's and women's team collected All-Academic Team status for their team GPAs during the 2020-21 season. The women's team led the way with a 3.59 GPA while the men's team had a 3.35 team GPA during the season.
