DES MOINES, Iowa – A total of 55 Drake University student-athletes from 13 athletic programs are set to receive their diplomas this weekend at Drake University's 144th commencement ceremonies.
The 55 graduates include a Missouri Valley Conference Elite 17 Award Winner, 15 all-conference academic honorees this past season and multiple MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week winners. Fifteen will graduate either summa cum laude or magna cum laude with an additional seven student-athletes receiving cum laude honors. Additionally, 18 of the graduating student-athletes received all-conference honors for their athletic achievements this season.
Below are the student-athletes scheduled to receive their diplomas this weekend. During the year's earlier fall commencement, 15 student-athletes received their degrees to mark 70 student-athletes who received baccalaureate degree this academic year.
