Fifth-year senior halfback Drew Lauer (St. Peters, Mo.) of the Drake University football team is the Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Week, the PFL office announced Sunday, Oct. 27. Lauer earned his first PFL player of the week honor after a career rushing day in Drake's 36-17 home victory over Morehead State.

In the win over the Eagles, he scored twice via the run game, a 13-yard run in the second quarter to give Drake the lead for good and a one-yard dive in the fourth quarter that secured the victory.
