CHICAGO, Ill. – Three Drake men's soccer players – Leroy Enzugusi, Cole Poppen, and Tristan Stotler – have earned All-Missouri Valley Conference recognition, the league announced at a banquet Thursday.
 
Enzugusi collected first-team All-MVC honors, Poppen claimed All-MVC honorable mention accolades, and Stotler earned a spot on the conference's all-freshman team.
 
Hailing from Marion, Iowa, Enzugusi leads Drake and is tied for fourth in the conference with eight goals this season. He was also named to the All-MVC First Team last season after posting eight goals. Enzugusi ripped the back of the net with a game-winner in Drake's 2-1, double-overtime victory over Valparaiso in the first round of the conference tournament.
 
Poppen, a native of Ankeny, Iowa, earned a spot on the All-MVC Honorable Mention list for the second-straight season. He has paced Drake in assists in each of the last two campaigns despite missing five games due to injury this year. Poppen led the Valley with eight assists last season and ranks near the top of the conference with three assists this year.
 
Stotler, a freshman from Farmington, Mo., made meaningful contributions during his first season in the blue and white. He notched the first assist of his career against UNLV to help the Bulldogs defeat the Rebels, 4-3, in Drake's highest-scoring game of the year.
 
The Bulldogs face off against Missouri State on Friday in the MVC Tournament semifinals. Kickoff in Chicago is scheduled for 1 p.m.
