The Drake University women's tennis team begins its 2019-20 season this weekend when it hosts the Drake Invitational at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs welcome seven other teams, including Creighton, Omaha, South Dakota, Wichita State and UNI, to Des Moines for the three-day event that features two flights of doubles competition and four flights of singles competition.

Action begins Friday at 10 a.m. with doubles action and continues throughout the day. Competition resumes Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m.
