SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Drake University men's tennis team has been picked second in the Summit League preseason poll, the conference announced Thursday. The poll reflects voting done by the league's coaches.

The Bulldogs finished behind defending regular-season champion Denver. Evan Fragistas, a sophomore transfer from Virginia Tech, was named an Athlete to Watch for the Bulldogs. Drake won the Summit League conference tournament last season and opens play with a Jan. 17 meeting against Western Michigan at Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
