DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake University men's soccer program led by sixth-year head coach
Gareth Smith has officially released its schedule for the 2021 spring season. Drake will prepare for the spring campaign with two exhibition matches. Following these preseason competitions, the Bulldogs begin their eight-match Missouri Valley Conference schedule at Evansville on Feb. 13.

Drake's exhibition slate includes a match against Western Illinois at a neutral site in Burlington, Iowa on Jan. 30. Just a few days later, the Bulldogs will travel to Omaha, Neb. on Feb. 3 to challenge the Omaha Mavericks.
The league schedule is formatted so that Drake will play Bradley, Evansville, Loyola and Missouri State twice each in conference play, once at home and once on the road. In addition, the Bulldogs visit former MVC rival, Creighton, on March 3.
Drake's first home contest will be against Missouri State on Feb. 20 followed by its next against Evansville on March 19. Bradley visits March 29 before the regular season will end as Loyola travels to Des Moines on April 9.
The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will take place with the semifinals on April 13th and the championship match on April 17th. All MVC Tournament matches will take place on the campuses of the higher seeded team.
