The Drake University volleyball team fell in three sets at Illinois State Saturday evening in Normal, IL.

Illinois State (12-11, 8-3 MVC) took the match with three consecutive wins (25-20, 25-19, 25-19) over Drake (8-10, 3-7 MVC).
 
Haley Bush, the reigning Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, led the Bulldogs with a team-high 10 kills. Kacie Rewerts contributed a team-high four blocks for Drake.
 
Illinois State was paced by a match-high 19 kills from sophomore Tamara Otene and 22 assists from freshman setter Katelyn Lefler.
 
The Bulldogs continue Missouri Valley Conference play when they return to the Knapp Center to host in-state rival UNI Friday at 7 p.m. Drake defeated UNI in three sets in Cedar Falls on Oct. 1.
