BARTONVILLE, Ill. – The Drake University women's golf team is in eighth place after the first day of the Bradley Coyote Classic at Coyote Creek Golf Club. Drake tallied a team score of 622 (310-312) on Saturday, seven strokes behind Cleveland State, in the 12-team event. Xavier is the team leader with a score of 578 (287-291).
Haeri Lee is in 12
th place with a score of 148 after posting a 75 in round one and a 73 in round two.
Kristen Giles is two strokes behind Lee with a score of 150 (73-77).
Sam Paulak and
Gracie Tribolet round out the group as Paulak is tied for 48
th while Tribolet is tied for 54
th.
A pair of Musketeers, Emma McMyler and Kara Carter, are in first and second place, at 136 and 140, respectively.
The Bulldogs conclude the two-day tournament Sunday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun.
