The Drake University volleyball team topped Loyola in four sets Friday evening at the Knapp Center.
The Bulldogs won the first two sets before falling in the third by three points.
Drake was led by
Mariana Rodrigues' 13 kills and 17.5 points. Senior
Lindsey Pliapol added 12 kills for the Bulldogs and
Ashlynn Kuhn tallied a team high 10 blocks.
Maddie Holt and
Caitlyn Smith each tallied 19 assists on the evening.
The Ramblers were paced by Kelsey Watson who recorded 10 kills.
Loyola went on a 7-0 run in the beginning of the fourth set, but Drake made their comeback.
Drake returns to the Knapp Center on Saturday Nov. 20 to take on Valpo in their season finalie. The Bulldogs will celebrate six seniors after the match.
