Women’s Tennis Continues MVC Action Against Valparaiso

Bulldogs return home for second league match

The Drake University women's tennis team continues its Missouri Valley Conference season Saturday afternoon when it welcomes Valparaiso to the Roger Knapp Tennis Center for an 11 a.m. match.

The Bulldogs return home after earning a win over BIG EAST foe Marquette last weekend by a 4-3 margin as Maria Tatarnikova's win at No. 4 singles clinched the win for the Bulldogs' seventh win of the season. 

Drake is 1-0 in league play this season after opening up MVC play with a 7-0 throttling of UNI on March 12. 

The Bulldogs have won each of their last two matches against Valparaiso.
