The Drake University women's tennis team will face No. 10 seed Texas A&M in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament the Bulldogs learned when the NCAA bracket was revealed Monday evening.
 
The Bulldogs face Texas A&M May 7 in Evanston, Ill. at noon. Northwestern will serve as the host with Xavier also selected to the site.
 
Drake, the Missouri Valley Conference Champion, advanced to the NCAA Tournament field after reeling off three-straight wins, including a 4-0 sweep of Missouri State in the title game to earn the program's first NCAA appearance since 2000 and third in the program's history.
 
The Bulldogs posted an 11-8 overall record this season with senior Liza Petushkova and junior Daria Walczak earning All-MVC honors.
