Lucas Bartlett and Istvan Wilhelms of the Drake University men's soccer team were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 6 First Team, CoSIDA announced Thursday, June 3.
 
Bartlett, a senior defender, holds a 3.57 cumulative grade point average in business administration while Wilhelms, a senior midfielder, owns a 3.40 GPA in marketing. It is the first-ever academic all-district honors for both Bartlett and Wilhelms. They are now eligible for the Academic All-America ballot.
 
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at the position listed on the nomination form (where applicable).
