The Drake University men's tennis team collected 11 wins over two days at the Creighton Invite Sept. 24-25 in Omaha, Neb. The Bulldogs claimed six singles wins and five doubles wins.
Evan Fragistas won his matches on both Friday and Saturday. He topped North Dakota's Edmon Aynedijan 6-3, 6-3 and Creighton's Casey Ross 6-4, 6-1.
Markus Bolin was the only other Bulldogs to win both their matches over the two days. He defeated Gerry Sulland of North Dakota 6-4, 6-4 and Creighton's Stratton Brown 2-6, 7-6 (10-8) (13-11).
The doubles pair of Olle Sonesson Lidholt and Fragistas won their doubles matches, 6-3, 6-2, and 6-2.
Markus Bolin and Gabriel Sardo also won their doubles flight, 7-6, 7-5.
The Bulldogs continue their season next weekend at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
