The Drake University women's tennis team collected nine wins at the Gopher Invite Sept. 24-26. The Bulldogs collected five doubles wins and four singles.
 
Drake doubles duo of Millie Haagensen and Darinka Stepan won three of their four matches. The duo played opponents from Gonzaga, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
 
Sophomore Ines Stephani won her flight in singles competition for the Bulldogs. She topped opponents from Gonzaga, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
 
The Bulldogs return to action October 8-10 at the MVC Individual Championships in Valparaiso, Ind.
