The Drake University women's tennis team defeated South Dakota, 4-0, Thursday Jan. 27

The Bulldogs had three teams compete in the double portion of the match. 

Liza Petushkova and Daria Walczak defeated Jana Lazarevic and Habiba Aly, 7-5. 

Rebecca Ehn and Ines Stephani defeated Coyotes duo Estella Jaeger and Anna Marija Bukina 7-6. 

Natalie Kmoskova ad Beata Havlickova defeated Bulldog duo Mille Haagensen and Darinka Stepan 7-5, making it the only win for the Coyotes in the doubles portion of the day. 

The Bulldogs won three singles matches and three matches were ended incomplete. 

Stephani defeated South Dakota's Aly 6-3, 6-2. 

Haggensen defeated Kmoskova 6-1, 7-6 in her singles match. 

Drake's Stephan defeated Bukina 6-4, 6-2. 

Ehn, Walczak, and Petushkova did not finish their singles matches. 

The Bulldogs are back in action Saturday, as they host Wichita State at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center at 11am.
