Women's Golf Puts Together Strong Finish to Fall Season

Amber Henson and Kristen Giles finished in a tie for 12th place at the Ozarks National Invitational.

HOLLISTER, Mo. – The Drake women's golf team finished its fall season strong at the Ozarks National Invitational Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Ozarks National Golf Course (Par 72). The Bulldogs (306-308-304-918) remained in sixth place as a team out of 12 competing programs.
 
Amber Henson (80-73-75-228) was tied with teammate Kristen Giles (73-82-73-228) for 12th overall on the leader board after the final day. Aayushi Sarkar (78-77-76-231) continued to improve her score by one stroke each round as she wrapped up play tied for 23rd.
 
Kelly Kavanagh (82-76-80-238) and Rylee Heryford (75-86-83-244) rounded out the Bulldog lineup.
 
The Ozarks National Invitational concluded the fall 2022 season for Drake women's golf. The spring 2023 schedule will be released at a later date.
