TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The Drake University men's tennis team fell to Alabama, 4-3, Sunday evening.
The Bulldogs picked up an early point when two teams defeated their doubles opponents from the Crimson.
Evan Fragistas and
Matija Matic recorded their second straight win in doubles play when they defeated Enzo Aguiard and Joao Ferreira, 7-6 (7-5).
Drake went into singles play with the lead 1-0.
Fragistas continued his winning streak in singles play when he defeated Ferreira, 7-5, 6-1, to earn his fourth straight win.
Reid Jarvis also won his singles match. He defeated Rudi Christiansen 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.
The Crimson Tide secured four points from singles play to defeat Drake 4-3.
The Bulldogs return to action Friday March 25 as they host Oral Roberts.
