DES MOINES, IOWA – The Drake University women's tennis team swept Northern Iowa, 7-0, Friday afternoon.
 
The Bulldogs opened the day in doubled play, where all three Bulldog duo's beat their opponents 6-3.
 
Rebecca Ehn opened up the singles portion with a win for Drake. She faced the Panthers Issa Sullivan and although Sullivan took set 1, Ehn came out on top. Ehn finished 4-6, 6-3, 1-0.
 
Daria Walczak topped her opponent 6-1, 6-1. She took the first four points of set one and two before her opponent scored once.
 
Liza Petushkova topped Darta Dalecka, sweeping her in the first set. Petushkova won 6-0, 7-5 overall.
 
Mille Haagensen was the only Bulldog besides Ehn to have her singles match go into three sets. UNI's Andrijana Brkic won set one 7-6, but Haagensen took set two 6-2. Haagensen went on to win set three 1-0.
 
The Bulldogs return to action Saturday March 5 as they host Milwaukee.
