EUGENE, Ore. – Drake University track & field student-athlete Isaac Basten clocked another impressive 1500m performance with a time of 3:46.67 in the NCAA Division I Track & Field Outdoor championships final at Hayward Field on Friday, June 10. Basten, a First Team Indoor All-American added another Outdoor All-America accolade with his Second Team honor after a 10th place finish. 

Basten pushed himself near the front until the final lap. Drake men's track & field has had a finalist in the mile or 1500m run at four consecutive NCAA Championships.
 
The Buffalo, Minn., native concluded a successful 2021-22 Drake track & field season.
