Drake women's golf is set for competition at the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted at the Club at Hawthorne (Par 72/6,264 yards) in Columbia, Mo., Sept. 26-28.

Competing teams include Drake, Mizzou, Arkansas State, Bradley, Cal Baptist, Eastern Kentucky, FIU, Illinois State, Lipscomb, Missouri State, Northern Illinois, Oral Roberts, South Dakota, Wichita State.

Redbird Invitational Recap
The Drake women's golf team finished play at its first tournament of the season, the Redbird Invitational at Weibring Golf Club (Par 72) on Monday (Sept. 12). Once again, golfers played in rainy conditions as the Bulldogs (305-306-312-923) finished in ninth place out of 15 teams.
Kristen Giles (73-77-76-226) and
Amber Henson (79-75-76-230) both fired a team-low 76 in the final round. Giles converted five birdies and 35 pars to finish tied for 17
th while Henson took 27
th place.
Rylee Heryford (79-76-81-236),
Abby Marting (77-78-81-236) and
Aayushi Sarkar (76-82-79-237) all wrapped up play close together on the board. Sarkar sank five birdies and Heryford earned 35 pars.
Kelly Kavanagh (89-85-86-260) competed as an individual.
