Tulsa, Okla. - The Drake men's tennis team collected two wins in the 2023 ITA All-American Championships pre-qualifying round on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1.
"Overall I am very happy with how our guys have competed over the past couple of days," Head Coach Ben Lott said. "Whilst our record may not show it, the progress we have made in just a few weeks since we got back together as a group has been very good. In several matches we were 2/3 points away from results being very different. I am excited to see how the rest of the tournament will play out."
Markus Bolin went 2-1 in his successful weekend, winning one of his matches in straight sets. Bolin built off of the impressive undefeated performance he had in the Drake Invite.
The ITA All-Americans will continue with the qualifying round on Monday, October 2 and Tuesday, October 3.
