DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake cross country programs have been recognized as two of the top teams in the region after the latest USTFCCCA poll. Drake men's cross country clocked in at No. 3 in the USATFCCCA Midwest Region rankings and the Bulldog women's xc team skyrocketed nine spots to No. 6 in the Midwest. 

The Drake men's cross country squad also received nine votes in the USTFCCCA National Top-30 poll. 

The ranking comes after both teams competed extremely well at the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in Chicago on Sept. 29.
