SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Drake men's tennis junior Markus Bolin has been named TicketSmarter Summit League Men's Tennis Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday, Feb. 7.

At No. 5 singles, Bolin defeated Cornell's Jack McCarthy, ranked No. 116 in the latest ITA individual national rankings (6-2, 6-1) on Saturday, Feb. 4. The Uppsala, Sweden, native also beat Noah Neideck of Washburn (6-1, 6-2) in a 6-1 Drake victory over the Ichabods. 

Bolin's teammate Jeremy Schifris picked up the same honor last week on Jan. 31. 

The Bulldogs return to the court at Nebraska on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m.
