Day One | Friday, Sept. 15
The Drake men's tennis team got off to a hot start on the first day of the Drake Invite, winning every match on the day. The first day of the tournament featured only doubles matches, with every Drake duo coming out victorious.
Oliver Johansson and
Matija Matic played three matches, defeating all of their opponents.
Matt Clegg and
Will Ecklund dominated their second match, defeating their opponents 6-0.
Jeremy Schifris and
Reid Jarvis played a close match with North Dakota's Victor Moreno Lozano and Ange-Kevin Koua that ended in a 7-6 [7-4] decision.
Day Two | Saturday, Sept. 16
The Drake men's tennis team continued their success at the Drake Invite winning a total of 13 singles matches.

Markus Bolin,
Reid Jarvis, Matthew Clegg and Olle Sonesson Lindholt all won at least one of their matches in straight sets.
Schifris begam the day strong, shutting out his opponent in his first game of the day. Matic played a back-and-forth match with Creighton's Matthew Lanahan and finished with a victory. Johansson impressed in his second match of the day, winning both sets 6-1 against Gustavus Adolphus' Josh Christensen. Sonesson Lidholt had a spectacular day, winning in straight sets twice and dominating every game 6-2.
