Tulsa, OKLA. - The Bulldogs competed against competition from all over the country in the ITA Central Regional Championships. They battled in singles draws and doubles draws mid-week in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
 
Two of the three Bulldog competitors won their qualifying singles matches to advance to the main draw, with Jose Alessandro Hernandez and Ben Johnson winning in straight sets to advance. Hernandez defeated Creighton's Kirtan Patel 6-3, 6-4 and Johnson defeated Summit League opponent Elijah Brewer from Oral Roberts 6-3, 6-4. Cowen Lau dropped his match to Adam Bojkovic from Tulsa.
 
Lau went on to win his qualifying singles consolation match 6-4, 6-4 over Oral Roberts' Jonathan Evans. Hernandez and Johnson dropped their matches in the main draw singles round of 64. Hernandez lost both sets 6-4 against 10-seed Conor Gannon from Memphis University. Johnson lost the first set 6-1 against Tulsa's 14-seeded Luis Felipe Miguel and fought valiantly but dropped the second set in a 7-6 [7-3] tiebreaker. Johnson held a 5-2 lead against the opponent before losing. Christian Winstead won his main draw round of 64 match 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, advancing to the round of 32. Winstead matched up against Arkansas' Emesz Benedikt and lost 6-2, 6-0, ending his run.
 
Hernandez won in his consolation draw singles match, while Johnson dropped his. Hernandez won a three-set thriller, including holding a 4-1 lead in the first set against the 10-seed opponent, 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 over Vanja Hodzic from Wichita State, and Johnson lost in straight sets to Thomas Nicholas Gadecki from Oklahoma State. Hernandez and his opponent both withdrew in the next round of the consolation bracket, closing Hernandez's tournament.
 
The Bulldogs started strong in doubles play, as Ben Johnson and Christian Winstead defeated Ibrahim Furkan Deniz and Jonathan Evans from Oral Roberts 8-4 and Cowen Lau and Jose Alessandro Hernandez defeated Sansh Kumar and Sebastian Munoz 8-5. Both duos suffered defeats in the round of 32. Johnson and Winstead faced the 11-seed Bruno Nhavene and Oscar Lacides from Oklahoma.
