The Basics
The Drake men's golf team returns to action for its penultimate tournament of the fall season at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational hosted by Wichita State. The event will take place at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kan., from Oct. 6-8.

About the Course
For the second-straight year, Sand Creek Station Golf Club will host the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational. The course will play as a par 72 and measure in at 7,184 yards. Sand Creek Station opened in 2006 and is designed with a bent grass playing surface by architect Jeff Brauer. The course has hosted many collegiate and professional golf events, including multiple National Junior College Athletic Association National Championships. The tournament is played as stroke-play format, with 18-holes being played each day, Sunday-Tuesday
